Juvederm

These products, contain hyaluronic acid, a natural component of the human skin. As we age, we lose hyaluronic acid, leading to the appearance of lines, wrinkles, and facial volume loss.
Hyaluronic Acid products first appeared in Canada in about 1998 and Dr. Pollack had the opportunity to be one of the first in North America to obtain clinical experience with these products, including Juvederm.
These injectables last for about 4-6 months before touch-ups are required.
Treatments are administered as a short office procedure and most patients can immediately return to normal activities. Some temporary redness and swelling can be expected and bruising is possible.
