Revanesse, Revanesse Ultra, and ReDexis are new biodegradable, non-animal based, Hyaluronic Acid gels used for filling imperfections of the skin. The manufacturer of these products claims that they may last longer than other hyaluronic acid gels currently on the market, sincde they contain higher concentrations of this rejuvenating substance. However, clinical studies to establish this have not yet been undertaken.
These products appear to be safe, biocompatible, biodegradable and durable. We are assessing their effectiveness in our office as of January 2007.
